BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

Whether relaxing on Tortola’s white beaches, snorkeling in Anegada’s coral reefs, or having fun at one of the festivals on Jost Van Dyke, the British Virgin Islands are each unique and offer an array of amazing activities.

With more than 60 islands to choose from, where will your next adventure be?

The capital island, Tortola, is where the cruise ships usually dock. This beautiful island is the largest on the B.V.I. chain and offers white beaches, ancient ruins, and a fresh, local cuisine. If you don’t get a chance to visit all 60 islands, Tortola offers a little piece of each island in one package.

Tortola Attractions:

  • Apple Bay: the surfer’s choice of beaches, known for great Caribbean waves
  • Brewer’s Bay: home to ruins and beautiful snorkeling
  • Smuggler’s Cove: secluded and hard to reach, but great for snorkeling and warm waters
  • Main Street: in Road Town, is known for shopping
  • Callwood Rum Distillery: originally a sugar cane distillery, this sight offers rum tastings and tours
  • J.R. O’Neal Botanic Gardens: located near Road Town and a peaceful/serene place to visit
